| Description |
The Senior LPA will assist Squad Supervisors to resolve loan level issues (Pricing, IT, urgent requests) and follow-through until resolution is reached. They will review workflow and other daily or weekly efficiency reports (VVOE, rate lock reporting, communication audits, customer accepts report, etc) and take appropriate action or communicate with the applicable party to ensure high quality loans are moving through the process to closing. They will act as a subject matter expert for other Loan Processing Assistants to provide technical and procedural support.
The Senior role will also support core LPA functions such as the order and follow up on third party documents including, but not limited to verifications of employment (past and present), deposit, credit, rent and mortgage. Share findings with the Loan Processors via comments/tasking system. Initiate tasks to the Processors as needed as a result of reviewing/receiving documentation from either the customer or a third party. Make additional calls to loan stakeholders as needed. Support other 3rd party requests (appraisals, title work, subordination, etc.) to expedite the loan process and meet required closing dates/rate expiration dates. Ensure Loan Processors are advised of outstanding conditions, underwriting status, and loans ready to close to ensure the most urgent issues are being reviewed in a timely manner. Coordinate with the Loan Processor to send loans where all conditions have been met to closing and/or set the loan in closing status when possible.
A subset of the LLPA role will support underwriting queue management, which includes coordination of workflow and file assignments (to underwriters) while maintaining turn time SLA’s. This includes communication with the underwriters to increase workflow understanding.

| Requirements |
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors Degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year in the LPA or Loan Processor role required. Minimum of 1-2 years customer service experience required, preferably in the financial services industry. 12 months mortgage experience or 3 years managing client relationships in financial services setting preferred. Candidates must be detail-oriented, self-managing, organized and possess strong problem solving skills with the ability to make quick accurate decisions with limited information. The ideal candidates will also possess strong customer service skills, excellent communications skills (verbal & written), and strong interpersonal skills. Proven ability to interact and build relationships across multiple departments. Candidates should be open to flexible scheduling options including night and weekend work, and possess the ability to adapt/change as needed. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with PHH systems required. |
